FIRST DAY OF CLASS

Welcome to the first day of class!! I hope every student has purchased the textbook and is reading the assigned chapters. The first quiz is based solely on these chapters. Make contributions to the the discussion over the course of the week. Several students have already make contribution the forum which is excellent! You will learn more about Web 2.0 as we proceed with the course. Basically, Web 2.0 refers to any of the 'interactive' features of the World Wide Web which of course as we all know is growing. Libraries are also applying this concept in the way they are making information more accessible and more appealing to patrons. Be alert to applications of "Library 2.0" as we proceed with the lessons.
