One of the nice features of D2Learn is the ability of instructors and/or students to set up chat rooms within the course. I have not set up schedules chat room times this summer but groups of students are more than willing to contact other students and set up live chat times.
I as the instructor can also set up individual GROUP study rooms in which small groups of students can conduct discussions. Let me know if a group is interested.
